Domestic abuse is one of the most painful and isolating experiences a person can face. It affects people from all backgrounds, cultures, and age groups, often leaving deep emotional scars long after the abuse has stopped. Many survivors not only suffer physical harm, but also emotional trauma that damages their confidence and sense of self-worth.
For survivors, escaping an abusive environment is only the first step. Many face fear, uncertainty, and isolation once they leave. Safe accommodation plays a critical role in allowing survivors to take that first step toward healing.
Supported accommodation offers more than just safety — it provides reassurance. Survivors are placed in environments that respect their privacy, protect their wellbeing, and allow them to slowly regain confidence.
We also support survivors with practical matters such as benefits, healthcare registration, and legal guidance. Many survivors struggle with navigating systems alone, so having professional support reduces stress and uncertainty.
Healing takes time. With stable housing and emotional support, survivors are able to rebuild independence and confidence.
